Odds converter

Betting odds express the same two things everywhere: how likely the bookmaker thinks an outcome is, and what it pays if it happens. Regions grew up with different notations, so the same price can look like 2.50, +150, 3/2 or 40%. This converter keeps all of them in sync as you type.

The standard format in Europe, Australia and Canada, and the one Trackbet uses internally. Decimal odds show your total return per unit staked including the stake: 2.50 returns 2.50 for every 1.00 staked (1.50 profit). Implied probability is simply 1 ÷ decimal odds.

Used in the United States. Positive odds (+150) show the profit on a 100 stake; negative odds (−200) show how much you must stake to win 100. The favourite carries the minus sign. To convert: positive → decimal = odds ÷ 100 + 1; negative → decimal = 100 ÷ |odds| + 1.

Traditional in the UK and Ireland. 3/2 means 3 units of profit for every 2 staked, so the decimal equivalent is 3 ÷ 2 + 1 = 2.50. Fractional odds show profit only; the returned stake is on top.

Hong Kong odds are decimal odds minus one — the profit per unit staked. Malay odds are positive for underdogs (like Hong Kong odds) and negative for favourites, where −0.50 means you risk 1.00 to win 0.50. Indonesian odds work like American odds divided by 100: +1.50 or −2.00.

Every price implies a probability. Decimal 2.00 implies 50%; 1.50 implies 66.7%. Because the bookmaker adds a margin, the implied probabilities of all outcomes in a market add up to more than 100%.
